For Coffee House Addicts Only

As I sat in my consumer behavior class, I realized I am not only addicted to coffee, but to coffee houses as well. When I'm driving, commuting on the train, in class or making my handmade jewelry, there is almost always a coffee cup sitting beside me. But there's something about the atmosphere of a coffee house that gives me this sense of peace. Every detail of a cafe is intricately designed to cater to those who just want to relax and lose themselves for a short while. From the community boards and the handwritten menus on the wall to the fresh baked goods and coffee aroma, the design and layout of the furniture and decor, to the low buzzing of the people. All these things add a subtle touch to the atmosphere that I always gravitate to while travelling. Because no matter where I may be in the world, a kind face behind the counter makes me feel right at home.

Whether we're chatting it up with a friend, doing some work on our laptops or simply stop in to sip on a latte and unwind, Brunswick Cafe definitely hits the nail on the head when it comes to setting the perfect atmosphere for their target niche.

"Each staff member is trained by Counter Culture Coffee so no matter who is behind the machine you will be getting some great coffee!"

I recently paid a visit to Brunswick Cafe after teaching a jewelry class to their very own executive chef, Cynthia. The extra perk about this place is that the don't only have baked goods, but fresh organic produce and a menu filled with delicious breakfast food, sandwiches, and salads. I had the chicken salad sandwich, but you can take a look for yourself

When I asked Cynthia why she became a chef, she said it was because "I love stuffing face," so you know it's going to be good! Stop in soon for new Fall menu items like house chili with corn bread and fried egg, roasted root vegetables tossed in chili oil, and sweet and sour BLT sandwich.
